Dixon Detailing LLC (“Dixon Detailing,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website dixondetailling.com and provides mobile car detailing services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to quote, schedule, and deliver detailing service:

  • Contact information — name, email address, phone number.
  • Vehicle information — year, make, model, condition photos you upload.
  • Service information — service location/address, package selected, add-ons, special requests.
  • Payment information — booking deposits are processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Communications — messages, reviews, or feedback you send us.
  • SMS opt-in data — your mobile number and consent record when you opt into text messages.
  • Basic site data — pages visited, browser type, and approximate location, used only to keep the site running and improve it.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To prepare quotes and confirm appointments.
  • To deliver mobile detailing service at your chosen location.
  • To collect deposits and process payments.
  • To send service-related messages (appointment confirmations, reminders, updates).
  • To send marketing texts only to people who have opted in via our keyword (e.g., texting DETAIL to our SMS number).
  • To respond to questions, reviews, or support requests.
  • To improve our website and services.

3. SMS / Text Messaging Program

If you opt in to our SMS program, you agree to receive recurring text messages from Dixon Detailing for marketing, promotional, and service-related purposes. Message frequency is up to 4 messages per month (excluding transactional messages like appointment confirmations).

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories of personal information described in this Privacy Policy exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent — this information will not be shared with any third parties for any purpose. Information sharing to subcontractors that directly support our services (for example, the SMS platform that delivers the messages on our behalf) is permitted only to the extent necessary to operate the SMS program.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, and only to the extent each provider needs to do its job:

  • Booking & calendar: Cal.com (scheduling) and Stripe (payment processing).
  • Forms: Web3Forms (delivers form submissions to our email).
  • SMS delivery: our SMS platform (used only to deliver messages to numbers that opted in).
  • Hosting: Google Firebase Hosting (serves the website).
  • Email: Google Workspace (handles our business email).

We may also disclose information when required by law (for example, in response to a valid subpoena), or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Dixon Detailing, our customers, or others.

5. Data Retention

We keep your information only as long as needed to provide the services you requested and to comply with our legal obligations (such as tax and accounting requirements). You can ask us to delete your information at any time using the contact details below.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect your information, including HTTPS encryption on our website and trusted third-party processors for payment and form handling. No system is 100% secure, but we take this seriously.

7. Your Rights & Choices

  • Access / correct / delete your information by emailing us.
  • Opt out of marketing texts by replying STOP.
  • Opt out of marketing emails by replying with “unsubscribe” or emailing us.
  • Decline non-essential cookies through your browser settings.

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
